Farmington Hills, MI; February 23, 2017 – LinTech was awarded a $27 million Oracle Enterprise Solution Architecture contract to support the U.S Air Force’s Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS). Under this program, LinTech’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) senior and mid-level Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) provide valuable knowledge and guidance to support requirements, design, development, performance, security, risk assessments, testing, deployment and O&M initiatives across the DEAMS program. LinTech is providing application development support, technical solution architecture and ERP operations support to this ERP system based on the Oracle EBS 11i/R12 Suite. This program was awarded as a task order under GSA GWAC vehicle STARS 2 with one-year base and four one-year options.

LinTech is developing additional system maturity to enable DEAMS to receive an unqualified audit opinion through consolidated financial statements, total asset visibility, and accurate valuation of assets, as well as compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and policies. LinTech provides guidance to the DEAMS program office by: identifying, designing, implementing and documenting alternative technical and functional solutions that help meet the audit requirements of the Air Force (including Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB), Standard Financial Information Structure (SFIS), and United States Standard General Ledger (USSGL)), and in meeting Financial Integrity and Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance standards. LinTech works together with the DEAMS Functional Management Office (FMO) as well as representatives from the AF and the DoD Chief Information Officer offices to develop/defend audit compliance information. LinTech reviews and provides recommendations and metrics for closure of findings from audits/reviews of Federal Information System Controls Audit Manual (FISCAM) controls applicable to DEAMS.

“It is an honor for LinTech to have the opportunity to support the DEAMS program and its users,” said Michael Lin, “With the addition of this task order, LinTech is delivering increased value to the DoD by developing and sustaining ERP projects like US Army GFEBS ERP, DLA DAI ERP, Air Force DEAMS, and Corps of Engineers RMS.” He stated, “We are excited about the momentum in our ERP practice as we continue to shape financial management systems to provide DoD leadership with accurate, reliable and timely decision support.”
